WHAT DOES CREATING A TRAIL TOWN OR GATEWAY COMMUNITY PROGRAM INCLUDE?
Creating a trail town program can be custom tailored to your needs and goals.

As a hiker I have experienced a vast array of different trail communities and as a trail developer have created relationships and structures to help hikers and community members engage with each other.
-
I will identify opportunities for mutually beneficial relationships in your trail towns.
-
I will develop relationships with these towns and explore how the trail can be an asset to their community.
-
I can develop a passport program with local businesses to encourage hiker visitation.
-
I can help plan a trail days event for your trail in your communities.
-
I will explore hiker work opportunities with businesses along the trail (wash dishes for an hour, get a free meal...).
